There is no such thing as coffee creamer in Australia.

Hey yall!  I'm proud to say I'm back in the States after two weeks in Australia!  I can't wait to share more about my experiences there.  Until I have more time to sit and write all about it, here are a few pictures and one funny story!

Okay now time for the story.  One of the first things we did upon arrival and getting settled in was go to the grocery store to get food for the week.  Well, one of the top priorities on my list was coffee and coffee creamer.  Got the coffee in my basket.  Now as for the coffee creamer?  Well....I walked down the milk isle in the grocer and there was whole milk, skim milk, custard, and yogurt.  No creamer, half-n-half, or anything of the sort.  Went back to the coffee isle to see if there was powder coffee creamer.  Nope.  How was I supposed to survive?!  Black coffee I guess.  Just my first of many experiences with the different food.

  1. Found your blog by doing a search for coffee creamer in Australia. I too was confounded when I couldn't find any while visiting Sydney, especially with how much Aussie's love coffee! My boyfriend is Australian and he always gets full cream milk to put in it, or sometimes just buys regular cream, and they seem to do the job of getting the coffee a decent color and taste.
