Great News!

Paypal has reversed all of the money that was moved out of my account by someone.  THANK YOU LORD!
Now, everyone that has the same Facebook password as their Paypal password, go change it now!  Like right now!  That's how I think they got my email and password.

In other news... I have officially used a full 35lb pail of palm oil.  The whole thing!  I never thought this day would come.  It's a milestone fo' sho'.  Bad news: I have a show coming up the weekend of August 26th.  Hopefully I will have enough little soapies for the show!  The Pigs and Peaches Festival is located in Kennesaw, GA, and it will be my biggest show yet.  Wish me luck!

Now on to buy another pail...the bad part is when you go on a suppliers website, you don't just buy the one thing you needed.  You have to buy a little bit of this and a sample of that.  At least that's how I am, who's with me?!  I thought that thing would last me until after my show so I had some cash.  Oh well.

A couple days ago, Chuck Williams Photography came out a took a couple pictures of my products.  They are interested in featuring me on their blog and Facebook page.  Beverly, the wife to Chuck, is so sweet and encouraging.  She kept saying how all of my products are going to take off one day... so so nice!  Here are a few of the pictures from the day.

We made a batch of Tackle, our newest soap with an essential oil blend of cedarwood, litsea, and eucalyptus!  Only $4 a bar!  Click Here!

And these are my new business cards from MOO.com - they turned out perfect!!

And while I am in the mood of sharing good/great news, I have officially been accepted as a seller on Cargoh!
Cargoh is like a juried Etsy pretty much.  I applied for their website about 8 months ago and got declined.  Applied again, and now Revive is accepted!  I'm excited because there are only like 4 or 5 soapers on there so hopefully I'll get some sales from that site.  Just an example of why you should never give up!

Ben leaves for school tomorrow... sad day :(  Where's the "good" in goodbye?  They say, distance makes the heart grow fonder.  I guess after you've dated for over 3 years, being an hour away from each other isn't really that much of a biggie.  I'm just excited for his football season to start :)

What is some good news you have recently received?!  I'd love to hear it!

Caitlin

  2. Congrats on your photo shoot and invite to Cargoh.

I have a vendor beside me on Satuday and Sunday that I have become close too. On Satuday I was asking her opinion for a scent a male and female would enjoy for a lotion. On Sunday I brought the new lotion and showed her our display etc. and she was blown away and said how talented I was and that I should be selling at another venue because my products are so great. I found out it was her birthday that day and gave her one of my lotions and she raved about it which made me feel wonderful.

  3. Awh that's awesome! It always makes me feel good when I know someone loves a product we sold them. I bet you couldn't stop smiling!

  4. Great photos!! Ok, here's my story: A couple weeks ago I spent over $100 on toner cartridges for my printer and they didn't work! My printer just kept blinking the error light no matter what I did. I sent an email to customer service with no response, so I wrote a review on their website. A couple days later they called and offered to send me a return label and refund all my money! Woo hoo!
