Our new butter bar!
This soap includes four skin loving butters - illipe, shea, mango seed, and cocoa butter! It is scented with a EO blend of Star Anise, Lavender, and Cedarwood.
What is your favorite blend that includes star anise? I'm trying to find a blend that I like... not sure about this one!

Ah ha! I can answer this! I just did a survey asking the same question, and I'll tell you exactly what the responses were: first & second place were tied with "anise stinks" and "anise + other spices". Third place was anise + orange, followed by a tie for 4th & 5th place between anise + lavender and anise + mint. Chocolate or vanilla are also options. I tried them all, and really liked a combination of anise + orange and other spices, but ended up with just the other spices: Peppernut Soap. More than you wanted to know?

ReplyDeleteI think you should try your blend again without the Cedarwood as I've heard Anise and Lavender is pretty but haven't tried it myself.
New soap looks cool by the way.
