Pigs & Peaches BBQ Festival

Hey everyone!  Sorry it's been so long since I've updated.  I moved into a new apartment with my friend Jenna, so now we are officially roomies!  School also started about two weeks ago.  I'm taking 17 hours this semester!!  Talk about being busy and not having time to blog!

Anywhooooo, I participated in the Pigs & Peaches BBQ Festival the last two days in Kennesaw, GA!  Here are a few pics from the festival.

As you can see, there are several NEW products that will hopefully be for sale on my website very soon!  This includes a wonderful lavender room & linen spray, a soap sampler gift set, and the ultimate gift set which includes 8 full sized soaps!

My sales at the show were average - many people there for the BBQ and not the vendors!  However, I did talk with two people that are interested in opening up wholesale accounts which would be fantabulous (my made-up word)!

Hopefully you will be hearing from me again soon!

Abe's Natural Market

Revive Bath & Body has officially been accepted as a seller on Abe's Online Natural Market!

Revive Bath & Body | Natural, Green, Organic, Healthy

Click the image above to go to my profile and selling page!

If you haven't heard of Abe's Market, it's an online venue where people have come together to give customers an outlet to purchase natural, eco-friendly goods.  It's a pretty awesome site!

To become a seller, I had to fill out an application and send them samples of my products - I thought it was a long shot, but hard work does pay off!

Excited to see what else happens to Revive!

Great News!

Paypal has reversed all of the money that was moved out of my account by someone.  THANK YOU LORD!
Now, everyone that has the same Facebook password as their Paypal password, go change it now!  Like right now!  That's how I think they got my email and password.

In other news... I have officially used a full 35lb pail of palm oil.  The whole thing!  I never thought this day would come.  It's a milestone fo' sho'.  Bad news: I have a show coming up the weekend of August 26th.  Hopefully I will have enough little soapies for the show!  The Pigs and Peaches Festival is located in Kennesaw, GA, and it will be my biggest show yet.  Wish me luck!

Now on to buy another pail...the bad part is when you go on a suppliers website, you don't just buy the one thing you needed.  You have to buy a little bit of this and a sample of that.  At least that's how I am, who's with me?!  I thought that thing would last me until after my show so I had some cash.  Oh well.

A couple days ago, Chuck Williams Photography came out a took a couple pictures of my products.  They are interested in featuring me on their blog and Facebook page.  Beverly, the wife to Chuck, is so sweet and encouraging.  She kept saying how all of my products are going to take off one day... so so nice!  Here are a few of the pictures from the day.

We made a batch of Tackle, our newest soap with an essential oil blend of cedarwood, litsea, and eucalyptus!  Only $4 a bar!  Click Here!

And these are my new business cards from MOO.com - they turned out perfect!!

And while I am in the mood of sharing good/great news, I have officially been accepted as a seller on Cargoh!
Cargoh is like a juried Etsy pretty much.  I applied for their website about 8 months ago and got declined.  Applied again, and now Revive is accepted!  I'm excited because there are only like 4 or 5 soapers on there so hopefully I'll get some sales from that site.  Just an example of why you should never give up!

Ben leaves for school tomorrow... sad day :(  Where's the "good" in goodbye?  They say, distance makes the heart grow fonder.  I guess after you've dated for over 3 years, being an hour away from each other isn't really that much of a biggie.  I'm just excited for his football season to start :)

What is some good news you have recently received?!  I'd love to hear it!
